Meet the Kuka Family and owners Lindsey and Jimmy
Lindsey's background includes both academic and construction experience. She has a B.S. in interactive media from DePaul focused on interface design where people and computers combine. Through soul searching, the love of real estate, interior design, the need for flexibility and fourchildren later, she found a way to combine her experience with people, technology, design and desire to build, evolving into LHK Homes. She is a real estate agent working with HomeSmart Connect covering the Northwest Side of Chicago and was formerly project manager on several rehab/new construction projects. |
Jimmy's background began in Europe when at the age of 19, he had his first home custom built applying the principles commonly used overseas concrete for the foundation, walls, everything. Coming to America he knew building homes and following codes would be different, but his desire to change a property paved the way for doing construction and interior build-outs. He modified the architectural components on each project to work with the specs that existed on-site adding details and custom features that the client requested. Rehabbing a property is very different than new construction and things change. His innovative approach to these modifications made the projects run much more smoothly to stay on budget and schedule.
